Vitamin E.

Vitamin E (also known as tocopherol) is the most effective antioxidant among the vitamins and is used in the body to protect against tissue-damaging free radicals. Vitamin E reduces muscle damage after training and improves running performance. Vitamin E also complements vitamin C very well in its positive cell-protecting properties. Vitamin E protects the outer area of the cell, vitamin C the inner area. Vitamin E is fat-soluble and is therefore found particularly in nuts, avocados, seeds and their oils, i.e. in almost all fatty plant products.
